Portuguese fishing schooner, SANTA MARIA MANUELA, sister to CREOULA

The 3 surviving fishing schooners of the great Portuguese fishing fleet of the early 20th century have  been brought int o a joint project of restoration.  The SANTA MARIA MANUELA and ARGUS have been purchased by the fishing company,  Pascoal , and are being restored.
CREOULA is the 3rd schooner in the set.

CUAUHTMEOC -- Vela Sud America -- 2010 participation


CUAUHTEMOC, the Mexican Navy training barque, will participate in Vela Sud America, and will be the host vessel for the concluding festival in Vera Cruz, 18-23rd of June, 2010

CAPITAN MIRANDA -- Vela Sud America

 

CAPITAN MIRANDA is host vessel for the VELA SUD AMERICA regatta in Montevideo.

Chilean barquentine, ESMERALDA

The ESMERALDA will be the host vessel in several of the Chilean ports to be vistied by the VELA SUD AMERICA, Sails South America, fleet in April 2010.

ESMERALDA is a 370' barquentine, that carries square sails on her foremast, and was built in             .
