The Bulgarian barquentine, KALIAKRA, announced an energetic sailing schedule and participation in the Atlantic Challenge for 2009, including 2 trans-Atlantic crossings. It has berths for trainees, and adult guests. KALIAKRA is a steel-hulled, 160' barquentine that was built in 1984, and refitted in 1992. Her home Waters are the Black Sea, and her homeport is Varna, BULGARIA.
