America's Tallship, EAGLE, 2008 schedule

The U.S.C.G.A. barque EAGLE has announced its schedule for visiting the Pacific Northwest and California has been announced.

• June 12 – 16: Astoria, Ore.
• June 27 – 30: Victoria, British Columbia*

• Aug. 1 – 4: Los Angeles
• Aug. 8 – 11: San Diego
• Aug. 15 – 18: Los Angeles*
• Aug. 20 – 25: San Diego*

Swedish twin brigantines, GLADAN & FALKEN

The twin Swedish brigantines, FALKEN, Sail # S-02 and GLADAN, Sail # S-01 are scheduled to participate in the STI tall ships races this summer.

tallship BOUNTY

The tallship BOUNTY is now in the Gulf of Mexico, and making plans to participate in ASTA's Pacific Challenge in 2008. It appears the BOUNTY will make apperances in Victoria, BC, Tacoma, WA, and California ports to be determined.

Spanish schooner SANTA EULALIA

The Spanish schooner SANTA EULALIA was acquired in 2000 by the Mariitme Museum of Barcelona. Built in 1918, SANTA EULALIA is a fine example of the Spanish "pailebote" that worked the Mediterranean.
