Abby Kidder has announced that the schooner ROSEWAY plans to participate in the events, festivals and races that are part of Great Lakes United 2010.

FAIR JEANNE & the "lost channel".
Brigantine FAIR JEANNE is the 1st square-rigger to navigate the "lost channel" in the 1,000 island region of the St. Lawrence Seaway in 249 years ! In 1769, a long-boat of 14 men was lowered into the "lost channel" from the H.M.S. ONONDAGA, and were never found. The event took place on August 14th, 1760.

Sail South Texas 2010
The port of Corpus Christi, TEXAS is planning a tall ships festival for July 1-5, 2010.
Details are at a minimum at this point, but this event will be after the culmination of VELA SUD AMERICA 2010 which will conclude in Vera Cruz, Mexico in June 2010.

The new logo unveiled by the CAPITAN MIRANDA organization for the regatta, VELA SUD AMERICA 2010.
3 new entries to the fleet have been named: TUNAS SAMUDERA from Malaysia, TARANGINI from INDIA, and the barquentine ISKRA from POLAND.
